So just seen this ugly thing make its presence known. Any idea what it is and do I need to glue it in its hole. The little ball finger lookin like try to eat

Bad pic but probably a ball anemone. Not harmful.

Sounds like possibly a Ball anemone? I’m going to get a lot more medicated if I am going to figure out what I am supposed to be looking at in the photos. It’s a tough job but it’s a good challenge for today!

An Orange filter can help some, I use a pair of orange reef sunglasses over my iPhone lens and adjust the colors in the camera but I don’t get much better than you posted.
I do strongly believe it is a ball anemone. There are many different ones so look them up and see if they have a similar specimen in another post. Hth
