Yes that's right. It's polarized lenses you need to use@fr3n0z I vaguely recall something about looking at the glass through polarized lenses. If you see dark areas then it’s polarized.
Try looking at the glass with uv-protector sunglasses. Often you'll see a pattern on the glass, just like you do when you're driving and see it on the glass. If you're not sure, I wouldn't drill
I used polarised glass and no marks seen, on some known tempered glass (shower door) i could definetly see that. I have called the manufacturer and they told me is tempered but it sounded more like "i dont want you to modify it, so i tell you is tempered because otherwise if you brake it you may complain with us".Looking up the tank manufacturer usually has all the details listed.
