Hey everyone,

I have a coral that seems to be growing some tubes out of the rock. Can anyone help identify what this is and if I need to remove the tubes? Dip the coral? Or leave it alone?

Thanks for your help!

Looks like vermetid snails or feather dusters. If you see a string coming out of a tube, then it is a vermetid snail. To destroy it, put superglue on the opening of the tube and crush it with a tool.

From being at the end of a year and a half war against the little snails. Take my advice, get rid of them ASAP!

Thanks everyone, after removing the rock there were tons of those tubes all around the rock. I tried breaking them all off and filling with super glue.
Hopefully they are all gone.
Thanks again for your suggestions!!
