Those are candy canes (CAULASTREA FURCATA). LPS coral. Unhealthy, I might add.

They don't look unhealthy, it just looks like they're upset cause you just dipped them/they're out of water

Because the calcified structure is piercing through the flesh.

Its not piercing through, the coral is just very retracted, likely because it was moved out of water/dipped

yes I just bought it I’m acclimating it now. Do you suggest taking it off the frag plug and glueing it directly to a rock?

You could, it will look better though isn't necessary. Though it may be a good idea to keep unwanted pests out.

Not dead, just deflated. All the flesh is still there, actually

They were acclimating it when they took the photo, it's just unhappy from the move
