Hey reefers!

Found this little guy on a zoa I just purchased (somehow made it through 2 dips). Please help identify and let me know if it's an issue! They are in my coral QT.

Thanks!

Pic too small. Looks like a pod but we want to verify. Can you get in closer ?

Is it an amphipod? I can't tell, just looks like a blur

Looks to me like a peanut worm often seen out in the open. They tend to live in sand bed where they eat the debris left over from feeding or deposited by your fish.

Still can't quite tell. It would be the smallest peanut worm I have ever seen though. Mine has like a 1-2" stump and a ??" long proboscis. The body looks more-"ribbed" than a peanut worm too.

OP, any chance for a closer pic or is it too late?

unfortunately its too late. it was very wormlike. too bad the quality doesn't come out for you guys like it does for me.

Looking at pictures of a peanut worm and I don't think that's what it was, you are right--it's more "ribbed"

Are there any other types of little filter feeder worm things? haha
