Help identify please

Not to sure what these are. But every now and then I notice a stringy substance lingering from the end of them. They are the piinty reddish spikes. Thanks in advance!

It's probably a vermetid snail.

The mucus/webbing that you're seeing can irritate corals. They are just trying to catch debris, but the activity doesn't make the corals very happy. Their numbers can also climb kind of high.
