Can someone please identify this fuzzy thing in our tank? I've searched everything I can think of to no avail.

So that little ******* is what probably killed my clam that's next to it...
Clam was doing great until a few days ago I came downstairs to find it dead. Had to move the shell to get the pic I posted.
I have a cleaner shrimp and a pistol shrimp. Would either of those bother peppermint shrimp if I added them to help keep the aiptasia under control after I remove that one? I have a 210 gallon setup.

They will both be fine with a peppermint, the only risk if you have a very lethargic peppermint could possibly and I mean a small chance it could be preyed upon by the pistol, but pistols typically go for small snails and hermits. Just be careful with peppermints, they will eat other nems you dont want them too and may not even touch the aiptasia. True peppermints are what you will need and many LFS misidentify them. If that is the only aiptasia you have I would just buy aiptasia-x or a similar product and treat it yourself. This is very very easy, trust me, and would stop you from introducing something that may not even solve your problem.
