Help identify this creature

I found this creature while shining a flash light in my tank at night. May be a sea cucumber or my best guess a feather duster outside of tube?

The armored scales are what gets me. Thing looks ancient. I decided it has to be a feather duster. i put him back in the tank and he was gone 20 minutes later.. lol. Hope I'm right.

Never seen one before. if no corals are missing chunks and everyone looks good and healthy. Probably safe.
Edit: reminds me of a sea cucumber.
