Has been growing well in my Tank for 2 years now. I was thinking it may be some strand of Leptastrea? It looks like a matted coral simulator to green star Polip as it spreads on this rock. Also has characteristics of Montipora? I originally found it on the under side of my rock. Started out as 3 polips so it’s growing fairly quick.

Looks very much like a Leptastrea that I have that was sold to me as Lucky Charms. You can see my small frag in the middle.

Wow.....sure enough does! Thank you very much for the help guys. I have been looking online for sometime now haven’t quite seen it. The frag you have their is it.

The blasto merletti normally will have a puffier outer ring with wellsi being the fattest. Leptastrea has more of a carpet goniopora look to it. It can at times be hard to tell the difference. I do believe the OP has leptastrea. If you put the 2 corals side by side the blasto merletti polyps would be larger.

That's blastomussa wellsi, the merletti will have a more smaller concentrated cluster of polyps.
Agreed.

My confusion on the is one is the polyps are very exaggerated compared to say an easy one like a JF jack O lantern
I do have one I tried t her the pic of , that shares a similar pattern but very low growing
