Not sure what this is…I’m a 2 year newbie…
This is gelatinous and I have been scraping off here and there while doing water changes. Thank is about 5 months old and currently fallow.

Not sure. These photos are blurry. Why did you start to scrape them off?

Yeah they are a lot clearer on my phone…can’t ever get pics to come out good on here…started scraping a few off about three weeks ago.

I'd say either a sponge or a brown macroalgae like Asteronema, Colpomenia, or Sarcinochrysis.
