Noticed this weird creature roaming around the rock, best picture I could get. Also curious if anyone knows what has started growing on this torch frag?

On the left most side of the torch by where the skeleton meets the flesh, there is a vermatid snail. Bad guy. Chip it off or put a dab of superglue on it.
Yes stomatella and pineapple too. Those are good.

Oh man theres 3 vermatids... get em now before they make themselves at home.

Good catch, I didn't even see the vermetid worm.

I think I see an apastia between the pineapple & trunk of the torch.

Sponges just happen. It's inevitable and a sign of a good tank.
Stomatella and vermatid are hitchhikers. I am guessing you do not dip. Neither did I my first few months and that's how I landed flatworms. My recommendation would be to start looking into dipping your new corals before adding to the tank. Although not all hitchhikers are bad there are definately bad hitchhikers out there.
I do a good blow off and toothbrush scrub in tank water and then I do a Bayer dip. If there are any good guys, I can save them in the scrub part. After the Bayer dip I do another scrub and a couple rinses. That's where I get out the magnifying glass and flashlight and look for any eggs or things like that that I may have missed.

This was actually my first coral and the only one I haven’t dipped. Probably explains why it’s the only one with hitchhikers on it. I’ll try to get a better picture of the other things

Yea, I'm still kinda feeling like that's a feather duster. Will it retract into a hard tube when you touch it with something? Or is it's entire body soft?

I really enjoy my feather dusters. It looks like the only thing you have there to get rid of is the vermatid.

Haven’t touched them yet. But it does look like they have a very small tube to retract into
