i got this because I thought it was cool, it’s white with a pink irredecent edge. I think it’s a mushroom. Anyone have any idea?

It could be, any chance you could get a less blue pic.

I had something like that when I bought a BTA that was on a rock. I thought it was a baby BTA. Eventually it just disappeared.

Keep in mind for future purchases, not many naturally white corals in nature. It's usually a sign the coral is bleached/bleaching which is bad. Means it's good algae has left the building.
I purchased from a reputable place, but I just never got the name. I was a total impulse “oh that’s cool” buy.

I am going to be honest, I can't tell what I am even looking at, so let's just say @Hemmdog is right.

I see you are new, welcome to R2R! Start a build thread and show off your tank!

It’s a bleached mushroom. Crazy thing is I have a couple shrooms that bleached on shipping and still have not recovered over a year later. I can’t explain how they have not died.......

For future reference, impulse buys are not a good idea. you should never buy a coral without knowing what it is and what it's requirements are.
