Howdy,

I was combatting red cyanobacteria with chemiclean and throughout I tested my nutrients daily and dosed accordingly.

The aftermath is this dark stringy algae growing from everything.. I'll baste it off and it'll be back hours later

Not bottoming out is not always a magic cure-all. Depends on species, and how low your nutrients actually got.

Nitrate 10ppm

Nutrients are alright, phosphate is a bit high. I would throw a sample under a microscope to know for sure.
