Help identify

I have coraline algae starting to grow and everything looks great. I had this pop up and not 100% what it is good or bad.

Any help would be appreciated.

The purple stuff on the rocks? It appears to be cyanobacteria. Confirm if it is soft and blows off the rocks easily. Increased flow helps a lot to eradicate it.

Ok i just tried and blows right off and is gross. Thanks for the advice. Looks like i need to kick my gyre in high gear again since it is at the opposite end of my tank.
