Just starting to keep lps corals, picked this up and not sure what this actually is. Apologies for my ignorance lol.

Sorry... Looks like a favia to me. Very nice!
This sounds silly I know, but picked it up at a quality shop about 2hrs from the house (that's the closest one). I think it was $35 hope I can get it to grow. I'm seeing a little bit of light pink around the rim, I hope that's growth and not death lol. Kinda see it around the top rim in the video. Just starting to try my hand at sps, lps after few years keeping easier to keep stuff.

It's an LPS for sure... Might be favia, could be a chalice, could be something else similar looking.

Kind of Erin1971 to offer to take it, but Texas is probably too far away from you. I'll be glad to help out and already have a "buddy" coral ready for a new friend. BTW, this one on left was given to me by LFS owner as a spicy lemon if that helps with id; kinda similar taking light spectrum into account.

lemon lime favia which many vendors classify as micro favia

I’ve got it in the corner of the tank not super high flow and definitely lower light, what would you recommend
Moderate light and water flow and feed 1-2X per week. Planktonic foods or even brine shrimp

I hate to be that guy, but there are no Favia’s in the hobby. There are only two left in the genus, they are both Caribbean species, and there is no stony coral collection allowed in the Caribbean. Everything being sold as a ‘Favia’ is usually either a Favites, Goniastrea, Dipsastrea, Platygyra, or Coelastrea (there are a few other genera that sometimes show up for sale as ‘Favias’). I realize most people still just call most ‘closed brain’ corals ‘Favias’ out of convenience, but even before the reclassifications most of the corals sold as Favias weren’t Favias.
