Help Identifying Nussiance Growth

Hi everybody I have this dark

brown film that has been driving me nuts. It grows on the surface of my sand and rocks but only during the day. At night it disappears only to reappear during the course of the next day while the lights are on . I’m seeking advice In identifying what it is and also methods to neutralize it.

Looks and sounds like cyano to me. It it really brown or more of a reddish brown? Does it come off the rocks easily when you do a water change?
