Hi guys. I’ve had this tank going around 2 1/2 months now. The first 4 weeks it was just live rock and Dr Tims, to try and get ahead with the good bacteria, didn’t even have a light on it. Then i added two clowns, and recently some corals. I have this red/maroon, brown almost like dust particles everywhere. On the live rock, glass, and even the power heads as you see. Can i get some help identifying so i can try treating? I thought maybe Vibrant or ChemiClean might help? Couple pics with different filters to help get through the blue. Thanks in advance.

New tank syndrome AKA ugly stage. You can blow loose with a turkey baster. Adding more flow does help alleviate its ability to cling to rock

Your tank may have been much more sterile before you added them and there are probably some types of algae or micro inhabitants that may get into the tank not are all bad some are.

Yep just the normal ugly stage. Oh and I wouldn't jump towards chemical solutions for problems in your tank. For the most part they are more trouble then they're worth

Thanks everyone. I’ll just ride it out a bit and see what happens. As long as the fish and corals are healthy, i can live with the ugly stage until it passes.
