Help identifying please

I have noticed a pop-up of single white stalks of something in various locations on the rock and in 2 spots seems to be multiple stalks. Does not appear to be aptasia and have no body. I appreciate any help in identifying what they are and whether they are bad. Thank You

Poriferan sponge. While harmless can grow and grow and I generally remove when I see it.
Use a dental type pick or small crochet needle and gently pull off. Other option is to inject with air or vinegar via syringe which will stop it
