Help identifying this.

I was cleaning my overflow and found this worm in wirh some if the algae. Any ideas what it is?

Looks like a bristleworm. Some like them while others do not. Good part of the clean up crew.

I'd leave it in the tank personally. Food source will determine there populations.

+1 on a basic bristleworm its kinda hard to tell with this quality image you may want to compare to a fire worm. Just to make sure its not something that could end up being painful.
