Help identifying torch

So I purchased a torch months ago labeled Indo gold dragon soul. I have a IG account and have a dude stating that’s not a real torch. My LRS is very knowledgeable. Just curious.

Video in the first post seems to work fine?

It's definitely a torch coral (Euphylllia glabrescens). What pseudo-trade name you wish to label the color variant might be debatable.

On my end it isn’t working. So the local reef store is incorrect on their labeling? To me it definitely looks like a dragon soul torch. I got a sick deal on it regardless. 50 bucks it wasn’t doing well after propagation

Might be the browser you're using - some don't work as well as others with videos, and some will only play certain proprietary formats.

I'd say it was labeled correctly, but my subtle point was simply that there is no real "standard" for trade names. They could call it "super best great gold torch" and it wouldn't be technically wrong. You won't ever get a room full of hobbyist to agree on an exact type of torch as the "correct" "dragon soul".

Exactly what I was thinking, if you have a colony, and your buddy has a colony, you have the same exact coral. One forms different colors. The propagator can name it as they please. Technically the name is just for coloration correct?

This is a frag off the colony in the first pic correct? The first pic has similar coloration to dragon soul but the last pic doesn't look the same. It might take some time to color up. Heck of a deal.

Thank you guys! I Really do appreciate it! When I first got it the color was indeed terrible, not bad for 4 months of growth
