Looks like some sort of worm, not sure what exactly though. What has it been doing?

Looks like some sort of worm, not sure what exactly though. What has it been doing?

I just noticed it last night, it's been scurrying through the sand today and sometimes on glass, my first thought was maybe a detritus worm, which is beneficial and may have hitch hiked from a recent purchase.
