Help identifying

First I would like to say hi to everyone, I’m new here and this is my first forum so bear with me.
I have found what appears to be a tube worm on my hammer. It appears to be irritating the hammer.
any help in identifying this creature and if it’s ok for the reef or not would be very appreciated.

vermitid snail. Nasty pests. Bubble bee snail eat them, try super glue or crush it with pliers

Thank you, It’s finally coming around.

I cut as much of it off as I could with bone pliers and then shot the area with a laser in case some worm was left behind to possibly grow back.
