I have a 75 gal. I have setup 3 months ago. I used ro/di water and have 2 clowns. About 2 weeks ago I started seeing a few spots of green on my rock. Then the brown started growing fast. It is on the rock and glass. The heavier areas have bubbles. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Diatoms or dinos. Not sure, as on my phone and can’t see well.

Also, post your parameters as well. Mainly nitrate and phosphate. Will help with figuring out what they are. If you have a microscope, that would help also. Even a kids microscope will work.

Like WIReefer said, Just ride it out and it the meantime just clean it out with water changes. Add some Purple Up, coraline algea in a bottle, I have used it with good success.
