Help identifying

Hi, I just bought a peice of live rock and found a Hitchhiker. I think it's an anemone, but not sure. Please help if you know what it is.

It looks like a very stressed out nem to me. If so, the fact that it's still attached to the rock is one good sign it might pull through.

i agree... it could be a piece of a leather coral.. but my guess would also be an unhappy nem. give it some light and good water conditions and see what it turns out to be.

I also thought it was an anemone too, but couldn't tell
