Hi all - New to this community and had questions about growths on my live rock. Been caring for aquariums for ~30 years (freshwater/cichlids) and finally decided to graduate to saltwater. My tank has been running for ~7 weeks. Cycled with live sand/ live rock for 4-5 weeks. Once all parameters were good (0 ammonia, 0 nitrate, o nitrite) i added 2 clowns, 2 peppermint shrimp and several hermit crabs... everyone seems happy and healthy so far.
However, i've been noticing small spikey red growths on all my live rock (assume it may be algae bloom of some sort), but also a yellowish fuzzy looking growth on one of the rocks. Doesnt seem to look like Aipastia but was hoping someone can confirm what it is and whether is is something i should get rid of. Pics of both posted below
