Greetings - First post on the forum. Long time follower, this community is great.

Have a question on two hitchhikers that have been slowly growing at the base of a finger leather coral (my first coral) that I brought home several months ago. At first there appeared to be arms growing at the base of the coral and over the last couple weeks they've grown quite large. There are two of them - purplish coloration. They kinda look like zoas with very long arms. They are thriving, perhaps out-competing the finger leather.

Anyone have any idea what these are?

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks - upon doing a little more research, I'm thinking it's probably Aiptasia....sigh...
