Hey Reefers! So i introduced a Goby and Maroon clownfish into my Nano tank without Quarantining. I know i know worst mistake i coulda made so i recently setup a 10 gallon Quarantine tank in the garage but haven't pulled the fish out the Nano DT just yet.

Below are a couple products i ordered to treat possible flukes/intestinal parasites/diseases inside the DT. I also ordered some Melafix which should be here tomorrow. So far he doesn't like the soaked food in Metro and Kanaplex, just spits it out. He does eat the Mysis with the Selcon in it. I performed a fresh water dip for 5 mins and he did show signs of improvement for two days but the symptoms are back.

Cloudy eyes, hides in the shade, twitches and scratches here and there, white stringy poop, tail rot which seems to be growing back.

First step is a freshwater dip to check for flukes.

Then the problem is that "early Brooklynella" and ich/velvet look a lot alike. So start with the FW dip. And we look for other symptoms:

Brook: sloughing off of the skin
Velvet: hiding from light, loss of color, swimming into a flow like powerhead stream.

@Big G he doesn’t swim into the power head or flow but I do see him hiding from the light a lot. I will perform another fresh water dip to ID flukes.

is there a number of times I can perform the fresh water dip before it starts to harm the fish?

You can do a freshwater dip once a day if the fish is doing well.

The hiding from the light "may" be a symptom of velvet. The parasite does not like and reacts to light. Fish quickly understand that being out of the light the parasites calm down a bit.

Here's a couple of threads with info, pictures and treatment on both Brook and velvet both can kill quickly, and Ich:
