Help IDing these little guys.

I have a several of these on this rock and one or two on the adjacent rocks. They are about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch across. The prefer the shade and seem to open more under Actinic lighting. What are they and are they a welcome addition to my tank?

Looks like baby tubastrea, sun coral. Not sure though.
