i always thought all the Pavona's were a really hairy looking coral. learn somthing new every day

wait wait wait, it needs low light?? lol i've had it at the very top of my tank thinking it needs alot of light. Its been doing great though. Should i move it to the bottom of the tank?

Depends on your lighting. Keep an eye on it and if it seems to be bleaching or receding, move it down.

Pavona maldivensis - needs low light. :)

I agree...they also come in a very sweet dark burnt orange and the rim around the eyes is bright light orange. I had one doing quite well until I had a 14 inch anemone split and go "walkabout" while I was on vacation.
Nice coral, one of my favorites...don't see them around too often. :squigglemouth:
