Help...im new

Many corals give off mucus when they get stressed. Was it just added to the tank, has something changed in the tank, are any of the parameters off? Do you have a picture?
It is only a month in the tank and i had an algae bloom two days ago. My water changes are every week to two weeks. My nitrates were high so i clean it did a water change and cleaned the filter. Its a ten gallon tank.

Hmm, I don't see the jelly sac, just looks like the polyps are closed, which is normal from time to time. High nitrates could have stressed it, as could water change and the sudden reduction in nitrates. I would try to keep tank stable with good parameters for a while and see if they open back up in a few days..
