Oh ok. I can't see that in picture. It's a leapored for sure. There is a thread on here called let me id your wrasse.

This is definitely a male black leopard wrasse (Macropharyngodon negrosensis)
What a gem you have found here. Most any wrasse nerd on this forum would drool over that guy. Great find!

Good catch, so not a male? I couldn't check for scale but should have known based on the ratio of eye size to body sizeYep, that's a black leopard, Macropharyngodon negrosensis. Juveniles have more yellow along the dorsal and in the body.
