Help indentifying

Here is some more information:

I went to do a water change today and it's like one connected piece on top of the substrate. I used a table spoon and the entire top layer of substrate came up it's so thick. It doesn't disappear when the lights are out or when you stir it.

I think it's some dense turf algae - what are my treatment options

I'd do a 3-day blackout. 50% water change. And run vibrant. My tank is spotless after doing that.

currently dosed vibrant yesterday. Did you do a normal dose or?

Just follow instructions and let things happen. Make sure to oxygenate the tank!!
