Hi everybody!

move had a torch for the past year and half and the past month it will not extend past an inch. It’s an indo gold torch.
Please help.
PS. The torch on the bottom center is recovering. Saved it from another tank.

I'd say welcome to the forum but looks like you have been here a while just never posted.

I can't see your video, try uploading it to YouTube than post a link.
But if it only comes out a short distance then perhaps flow is to high near it? Something is picking at it?

Can you post your parameters?

Salinity, Alkalinity, Calcium, Po4?

What types of lighting & is it in low, medium or heavy flow & as mentioned by @AZMSGT try uploading the video to youtube

High lighting, nothing that would pick at it.

+1 on newgoby. Sharing all numbers would be great. Also any new additions from animals to equipment or changes to routines like feeding practices, dosing or WC. Any little change can pinpoint the problem. Would be a good idea to run through all your equipment & make sure everything is running properly. Good luck.

It's finally getting tired of holding on for dear life. Not all torches appreciate tsunami conditions. My indo gt for example, likes a cool gentle current and extends nicely to show it's happy. Good luck and hope it recovers for you.

Phosphate should never be 0, should be around 0.03-0.25 (preferably closer to 0.03.. but 0.25 shouldn't be an issue either - might reduce colouration & growth of coral) & raise calcium to 425-450 - there should also always be some nitrates in the system (atleast 2)

What's your alkalinity?
