Help: Installing Vectra Return Pump in RedSea Tank

I’m trying to install a vectra pump in my RS MaxS 500. Online says the existing hose is a 25mm hose. I’m trying to figure out if the 1” barb fitting will fit into it.

I keep seeing people say 1” = 25mm but 25mm is 4mm larger than 1”.
