Something ate my mini scoly. There was a urchin on it earlier but I don't think it would have done that but there is a gorilla crab I've been trying to catch/kill that could've done it. My question is does anyone think it will still live or is it already dead. Chuck it or leave it? Sorry I don't have a good camera to take better pictures but normally it is fully open and I can see the mouth. I can't see the mouth now because it is all shriveled up. Btw that is the skeleton exposed if it's hard to tell. IMG_1142.JPG

Well...it doesn't look dead.
It looks like the tissue is totally gone on the side but doesn't look like its stomach/mouth is damaged. As long as that's the case, it will regrow over the skeleton. Just be sure it's out of direct/medium flow. You don't want the existing tissue to tear on the exposed skeleton.

Ok thanks I'm hoping it will recover its hard to get a good pic without a proper camera but the mouth looks damaged the more I look at it. Guess I'll give it a day or two and see if it opens back up before I chuck it.

Give it more than a couple days. The main problem you are going to have is the healing and some fish may pick at the exposed flesh. IF it doesn't get infected you should be ok

You could put a half cut water bottle over top of it with a small weight (open top) so it gets some flow but is protected from crabs/fish/etc. Thats how I feed mine
