The color seems to be receding on my candy cane. Is this normal or is something wrong. This coral seems to be my nemesis, have not been able to keep one alive. Lights are on 8 hrs and its a 29 biocube. The coral is placed at the bottom of the tank.

Ca 450
Alk 10
Mag 1500
Phos 0
Nitrate under 10
PH 8.3

So am I just being paranoid or is something wrong with it?

Yea, give it another shot of something, that baby looks hungry still. Got any Mysis?

Candy cane corals do not eat Phytoplankton. Try feeding a little mysis, cyclopeeze or some type of zooplankton based food.

all depends on them. Once maybe twice a week. But watch them, they will tell you.

Thanks for all the help. Will let you know how it progresses. Beeeautiful candy Circlecityreef!!! Hopefully mine will look like that someday...
