Recently purchased and set up a Jebao 3.4 doser but cannot for the life of me get the automatic program to run. Anyone able to point out what I’ve missed?

Attached screenshots. Example: Channel 1 (appears to be?) set up correctly to dose 2ml at 9:00 daily (0 day interval).
However, absolutely nothing happens at the scheduled time. Same for channels 2 and 3 which were set up similarly. Have tried different times, cannot get it to dose automatically. What am I missing?

Manual dosing works just fine, both using the on device buttons as well as the channel “on” setting in the app. It’s just the automatic schedule that I’m stumped with.
Thank you

You have the day intervals set at 0. You’ll need to adjust the intervals to be 1 so it does it every day.
Ok thanks, I’ll try that. Reason I had set it to 0 is because YouTube vids etc all suggest it’s the day interval between schedule so 0=every day, 1=skip one day, 2=skip two days etc

Hmmmmm doesn’t sound right...

Ok, had changed one of the channels to 1 and checked the following day to see if it would run but...nothing.
Have contacted Jebao support but no reply. Not sure what else to try, and without the schedule running as intended there’s not much point to the doser. Anything else I can try to fix this?

Sorry man, this sucks... sounds like a bad unit? Partly why jabeo gets a bad wrap... inexpensive but not reliable enough

Yeah, it really does suck. What I don’t get is how everything else about this doser works just fine, including manual control both through the app and on the device itself. So it’s not an issue with the physical mechanism or connection / app possibly being buggy. It makes...no sense to me whatsoever. Will contact seller got a replacement as you’re probably right in that this particular unit is just bad. Thanks for your help, much appreciated!

Found the cause of the issue, adding in case anyone else is tearing their hair out over the same issue and stumbles across this thread: The doser whirred into life at a random time in the day, and after some trials was able to confirm the doser’s schedule is running on GMT+7 time. Why remains a mystery, since I live in a GMT+12 zone so it clearly didn’t set the internal clock based on my phone with the Jebao App. Also checked the router settings, and happens to be GMT+0 so it isn’t setting the time against the router either. But, having figured out it’s running GMT+7 adjusting the schedule accordingly -5 hours it appears (so far) to now be dosing to the intended local time. Annoying overall, but beats the hassle of trying to return this thing and start all over again.

Thank you for posting this update. I am going to be setting this pump up tomorrow and that may be helpful information. I hope your pump is still working well.

Yes, once I figured out it was stuck in a different time zone, I just adjusted the schedule accordingly via the app and it’s been running trouble free since. Despite the time zone glitch, very happy with the purchase! It’s fairly straightforward to set up and configure but if you get stuck at all let me know.

What day interval did you use? I can’t get mine to run either. Did you have to reset or do anything after you updated the program time? Thanks!

Quick update... I set the day interval to 0 and the pumps came on an hour after I set them to. So instead of 7am they came on at 8am. I’m in the EDT time zone and we just changed the clocks. Wonder what time this thing goes by.

Yep, day interval = 0 on mine too, which translates to doses daily. Glad to hear you got it working though definitely odd it doesn’t sync to local time (via phone app or router). Didn’t consider daylight savings time, will need to keep an eye on that next time our clocks change!

Would you mind telling me what size hose you use for this unit? Just got one and looking for hose size but finding nothing.

I believe it is 7mm OD. Amazon sells a kit with 4 different colors of silicone tubing which helps to identify which line is which.
Yes, that size should work just fine too, the nipples on the doser are tapered so should accept anything more or less that size.

Yes, I am in EDT time zone as well and mine doses an hour after my scheduled time. Everything seems to be working well other than that. I wish I could figure out a way to correct the time though. :)

I purchased this same 4-color kit from Amazon. I actually ended up having to purchase a 2nd kit, because I needed one piece wasn't long enough to run from the bottle to the doser AND from the doser to the tank.

Has anyone figured out how to keep from coming back in? I leave mine over night and get air that comes back in from the exit side. I’ve heard some say point the end up. Just seeing if anyone else has had this problem.
