I have had the fish in quarantine for two weeks and has started developing this white spot. Today he is laying on his side not looking good.

Same things happened to me. Yet i caught it too late and he wiped out nearly my whole display.

Fish has bacterial issue and first to check is water quality as there is both lateral line erosion, and possibly lymphocystis
Focus on ammonia and nitrate level first.
How did you acclimate fish and for how long?
If you don’t have quarantine tank- prepare to set one up for treatment using seachem kanaplex

Also how long have you had fish?

The odd thing - is that this seems to be 'increasing' - I wonder if its changes in salinity, etc - when transferring that exacerbate this - what do you think?

Something with water most likely and more history will reveal such as acclimation method, water levels, diet, etc. Being in QT, a number of issues with water can occur

Can you post a short video? I'm having difficulty telling what lesions are on the fish and what are water spots on the glass. I'd also like to see the fish's eyes.

Have you treated it with anything yet?
When was the last time it ate for you?
Are there any other fish in with it?

Jay
