Help - LFS 1.020 vs 1.026 Leopard Wrasse

Just picked up an leopard wrasse. I read that this wrasse doesn't take upward salinity changes well. LFS water is 1.020, my water is 1.026. I have full reef tank with, stars, SPS, fish, urchin, tang, clowns, mushrooms, bleenie. I immediately removed 2 gallons (90 gallon tank +40 gallon sump) to make room for fresh water to bring down salinity in tank, while raising salinity in aclimation bucket. my question is how fast can I raise lower salinity? Kicker Im suppose to leave in 2 hours.

You're in a pickle. I wouldnt drop your display salinity more than 1ppt. As for the fish, you'll just have to do a drip to get within 1ppt of tank salinity before you leave. You may need to delay your departure.

Pulled tank water, added water to match in 5 gallon bucket, diluted to 1.020, spare heater, random mini pump ($7 amazon), put him on a 2 second drip...good luck buddy...see you at mid night!
