Hey, I was running ocean revive lights(1st gen) on my 75 reef tank and one channel went out. It's so close to christmas and I'm about out of money. Is there any reef ighting out there that I can get for around $500 and have built in timer?

Says 2-3 weeks that they are made to order. My corals will be dead by then

What does your LFS carry?

I can walk you through building a very simple DIY based on GU10 bulbs if you are interested in saving serious money. For a 75G is would cost around $150 or even less.

That's cheap enough you can hang on to the rest of your Christmas money and either keep it if you like it, or take your time to order what you like and not have to rush.

There are USA vendors for the bulbs and sockets, so delivery should be only a few days, except for the Christmas rush on shipping.

Which brings us back to the beginning: What does your LFS carry? :)

They carry kessel, ocean revive the new models, and aqua illumination

Any of those would be very serviceable options.

Irrespective of budget, I think I would lean toward Kessil.
