I have a friend thats breaking down a 40 gallon. Im looking for a dip that will kill algae off the coral. Bubble algae. Yes I will be scraping it off. I've used 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. But I hear torches and other lps don't do well with it.

Look into Vibrant, can be a little rougher on Acros, should be good for other types of corals

Torches and LPS are perfectly fine dipping in diluted 3% H2O2. I dont believe it has much effect or any on bubble algae though.
