Help me add more fish to existing 93 cube

[Super Fly]

Would like to add more fish to an established mixed reef cube with DSB & CUC (so no sand burrowing fish nor fish that'll eat snails/worms, i.e. sand sifting Goby's, Dragonets or Mandarin)

Clowns - 2
Lyretail Anthia - 1
Foxface - 1
Flame Angel - 1
Tomini Tang - 1
Blue green Chromis - 1
Firefish - 1

Current inhabitants all get along swimmingly except for the Chromis, which everyone appears to find annoying and many chase him around (think it's bc he eats everyone's food, lol).

Not having much luck trying to figure out any new fish I can possibly add. Would appreciate any suggestions.

I would suggest a blenny or two. I have a Starry and a Tailspot that munch away at algae all day long.

2 Clowns
2 Bangaii Cardinals
1 Aberrant bristle-tooth tang
1 Yellow Corris Wrasse
1 Blue Green Chromis
1 Starry Blenny
1 Tailspot Blenny

That’s funny about the chromis, they do eat a lot. I’d look into a midas blenny, hawkfish, fairy or flasher wrasses.

I would love to try adding wrasse however concerned bc they burrow into sand to sleep and would eat my CUC... are there any wrasse that don't burrow into sand nor eat snails?

Yeah, I was thinking of a bi-color blenny.

Been thinking about Hawkfish as well, heard many folks find them to have very interesting personality.

Fairy and flasher wrasses don’t need sand. Neither to possum or pink streaked. Six line and mystery wrasses (any wrasse from that genus) also don’t need sand. I don’t think any of those besides maybe the mystery wrasse will eat snails.

Stay away from Halichoeres genus as well as leapords if you don’t want sand burying wrassss

Don’t get a sixline or mystery wrasse. They will dominate the peace in your tank.
Go with a pintail fairy wrasse if you want a mellow but yet beautiful fish in your tank.
Won’t dig in sand and won’t eat your cuc.
You can get him from reefbeauties for less than $100

Any of the fairy or flasher wrasse would be great for you. They neither bury in the sand nor eat CUC.

how about longnose or flame hawkfish or chalk basslet? fairy or flasher wrasses would add movement and plenty of color!

I was considering chalk basslet and recently saw some at lfs but they didn't move/swim around much... how are they in your tank?

As mentioned above Flasher and Fairy Wrasses will leave the CUC alone and don't need sand to bury themselves in. Stick with the generally peaceful varieties though. Many folks get suckered in by the 6 line and later regret it (the Mystery Wrasse also fits in there to a lesser degree).

Given that it's a cube, I would avoid any big swimmer, no matter the size.

Fish that tend to stay in their corner most of the time are the ones that will suffer less with being in a confined space.

Clownfish, cardinals, gobys, hawkfish, damsels, assessors.
