So I have a 30g aquarium that I bought yesterday. It was doing great. All my water levels are good and I did decrease my lighting a little cuz of algae. This morning my anemone was spitting out food and had dislodged it's self from the rock. It's kinda just floating around. What wrong worth it.

No sorry I wrote that wrong I've had my tank about 6 in a half months and just both the anemone yesterday. I have another anemone in there and he's doing excellent

Usually that means there is something wrong with its foot and it is not a good sign. Did it come on a piece of live rock or did they have to pry it off something?

Lol that shocked me for a second. How did it's mouth look when you bought it, was it tight and closed, maybe just a little puffy? Or was it gaping open? Maybe with a little white stuff coming ut?

I'm confident that stress plays a part in it, so many variables play into this hobby it's hard to tell right off the batt sometimes

I am no expert in anyway, but I know having a "sticky foot" is a sign of good health when you buy an anemone, so with it being unattached to begin with could me in was in poor shape at the store.

So if I remember correctly I was tight closed...just sitting at the bottom of tank in the LPS
