Just like the title says, help me build it!! I have a 100 gal stock tank as my sump and I want to make it a fuge. So I wanted to some of you guys and gals opinions on how to go about doing it. One end of it will have my skimmer and return so the other 90% is open!!

Will it be going in this rubber made? Use some eggcrate to block it down with some plastic mesh. Throw some calerpa or cheato! Could also get a cheaper led or just a shoplight from your local hardware store

What are the dimensions of the space you're using for the fuge? And do you want it to be just for cheato or do you want more of a pretty thing? I'm actually about to embark on taking my 10g and making it a fuge for my new 40g bowfront. But mine is going to be a display fuge.

It is going to be in the rubbermaid. I doesn't have to look good because it's in the garage. I am not a big fan of cheato. I would like to be able to feed it to my tangs.

Would they eat fern or grape calerpa? That's what I have in mine right now.

Well that's what I would suggest then. That stuff grows very well in a mix of sand and crushed coral/shells. Cut it at 3 inch intervals along the stalon and you'll end up with a lot of plants all growing fast.
