Hi guys!

I have a mature 36 gallon reef tank with the current inhabitants being:

pair of ocellaris clowns
1 midas blenny
1 royal gramma
1 fire shrimp

I was thinking of adding another fish to this setup, but am having trouble deciding. I can't have any sand sifters, as my rock are sitting on top of my sand and aren't dug in as much as it should be.

I'm thinking of adding a bangaii cardinal, but any other suggestions would be great!

You could get a pygmy hawkfish, they have a ton of personality :)

Might be a bit hard for me to find that locally, also i'm in Canada so no online fish stores for me :(

I'm thinking of going with two chromis, would that be too much?
Two chromis would probably be okay

a look through liveaquaria shows that most fairy wrasses need at least 50 gallons :/ except for the 6 line, scarlet pin strip, and the pink-streaked wrasee. Scarlet pin stripe is intriguing though.

I wouldn't do a fairy or flasher wrasse in that small of a tank. I also wouldn't do a sixline or scarlet pinstripe wrasse, as they can be aggressive.

Watchman goby/pistol shrimp pr, firefish, flame hawk, pink streak wrasse would work.
