Ok r2r, i closed on my first house and moved in this month! I was livin in a tiny apartment for the past few years and have been running a Red Sea Nano tank. Well naturally it seems like the right time for an upgrade! My RS Nano served me well but today i placed an order for a IM Nuvo EXT 50 Gallon Lagoon! It should be here end of next month. My current livestock is set up in a 20 high holding tank for the time being. Now that i have the tank ordered i need to start thinking about a sump. So far i really like the new 4th gen Eshopps RS-100. It has a 7 inch sock which seems nice. No ATO section which is great because i plan on running my ATO from my Brute can. But im open to suggestions in the $300 range. Help me out!

Check out Fiji cube. This is the 24

LOL, this is going to turn into a favorite sump thread. I currently have a Trigger Sapphire 34 sump and it has served me well, but on my 225 gal tank upgrade I will me going with a Bashsea sump.

I saw $300 and I paid 275 and it meets all my needs. The Bashsea sumps are beautiful and probably what I will get when I get a bigger tank.

Thanks guys! Is one 7 inch sock better than two 4 inch socks?

I'll second the FijiCube recommendation. I've got the 20 version in my 60g cube and really like it. It's got all the bells and whistles and a lower price point than most. Originally I was considering the Trigger sumps, but went this route to save a few dollars. I'm not disappointed in the decision at all.

Thanks guys, strongly considering the 20 inch version now! Can i use my BRS titanium heater on that acrylic heater holder? Or will it damage the sump?

Not sure on the heater holder question. I actually removed that and the dosing holder bit as I didn't need em and wanted more space to maneuver my skimmer. My heater is just propped up in the skimmer section next to it.

Fyi, went with the fiji 20. Its a nice little sump! Just waiting on my tank now!

Been looking at the Fiji Cube sumps and I had a question... For all the Fiji Cube sump owners, is there a bubble trap between the Fuge section and return section? None of the pictures show that wall between the fuge and return from the return side so I can’t tell.

Not on my 20... i was thinking i would have somebody make me a magnetic one if i decide to run a fuge... I know pelphy, the guy on youtube with his red sea reefer 250 had somebody make him one..

Yep no bubble trap, but I've honestly not had a problem with micro bubbles in mine. I do have chaeto and a really coarse sponge in the fuge section tho, but even before that they weren't a problem.
