Help me decide on a waterbox

so I installed the leveling mat on my Fiji 38 wrong and it cracked & started leaking. Luckily noticed before I had water all over my floor & I had an ich problem so no fish just corals that I’ve moved to a bucket until a little 13.5 I ordered arrives.

Im using this opportunity to upgrade and finally switch from AIO to sump, but I’m torn between the waterbox marine x 110 & the reef 180.

i know I know “get the bigger one,” however I live in a condo and I have to consider limitations (getting it up the stairs, mixing & water changes etc).

so the jist is, is there really any difference besides the gallons ? I know there’s a refugium baffle with the 180 but I can always cobble something together on the 110 (want to keep dragonet so need pods)

Have you looked at the frag series? I don’t know how you feel about shorter tanks but they are awesome

I have but I’m honestly just not sure about it as my very first sump tank. Might just go w the 110 for the sake of the missus so the place doesn’t feel too much like a zoo lol. Already have a bearded dragon & cat too & we’re planning on getting more animals eventually

Pulled the trigger on a good middle ground & got the waterbox 130 fellas
