Buy the biggest fixture you can put over your tank. I buy a 6 bulb fixture and put it over a 12 " deep tank, 8 bulb for 16" deep and so on.How do you go about that?do you retrofit your own or what?
I see...my problem/dilema is my bowfront just one more reason not to like it...i can only go so much until im lighting up floor in front of tank where it curvesBuy the biggest fixture you can put over your tank. I buy a 6 bulb fixture and put it over a 12 " deep tank, 8 bulb for 16" deep and so on.

@jmanyoma you have pics of your setup?I love my AI Leds supplemented with 2 t5 bulbs, change my bulbs at the year mark regardless of quality just to avoid any mishap.
I've been running my AI's for almost 5 years and still as bright even by running them 13 hours a day.
I have great growth and I have colors popping everywhere, nothing better then getting home from work and finding the blue leds on making colors pop.
@jmanyoma you have pics of your setup?
