So I’ve finally finished the basement....woohoo

A unique opportunity has arisen, I’m thinking about up sizing my tank.

Presently I have a 30x30x30 cube, approximately 120 gallons. Like it a lot but would always do something different.

Tank looks great and is working very well so don’t have to up size. I think if I did it wouldn’t be as deep nor would it be acrylic.

So anyway, the tank will be on the main floor sitting/dining room so has to look nice. I’m trying to decide between a deep dimensional 48x36x24 or 72x30x24

Would ideally like to still utilize the sump in the basement but not against everything under the stand.

This again will be a mixed reef.

Comments and or discussion?

Do it.

I didn't read anything after this....... so good luck!

EDIT: For a main-floor display, I'd go with something along that 72" long idea..... Rimless, hanging pendant lights etc. Very nice.
