I'm 15 and make my money for doing many chores around the house or for family, I spend it all on reefing lol. Well I have saved enough for either a Lime Time Torch or a Holy Grail (which I like both) with all the Memorial Day sales. I would like to- (much later down the road) frag and sell for extra hobby money. So, I'm stuck on which mark-up named torch to buy, thanks. Below are pictures.

It all depends on your tank. How mature it is, what your parameters are, what your flow looks like, how good is your lighting, etc.

Spending that much money on a coral, just to have it die because your tank isn’t ready, is a waste.

Are you sure you’re ready for a $450-$500 coral?

Well lets see, I have been in the hobby for little over a year. Got my first 3 hammers in July 2020 (all have grown at least 1 new head, the most being 5). Later, in October I got 2 blue mushrooms, red monti, blue chalice, green trachyphyllia, and a fruitloop acan, growing a new head. I have a nuclear torch and indo gold torch I picked up in January 2021, they are doing really well (currently bring even more coral out of them) . Note I also have 2 clown fish a fire fish, and diamond watchmen goby, I have only ever lost the single chalice due to a temp swing.

I feed reef roids every other week
lighting is a radionxr15 pro
I have 2 eheim heaters
I have a hydor nano 850, I dwon graded from a hydor koralia 565gph
I water change 3 gallons on a 32 tank every week

I test weekly
Salinity: 1.025SG
Temp: 78F
Ph: 8.00 (can't ever get it any higher.)
phosphate: 0.05ppm
alkalinity: 9.4dkh
Calcium: 480ppm
ammonia: 0ppm
nitrate: 5ppm
nitrite: 0ppm
mag: 1400ppm

What do you think? I don't mind waiting or saving.
